Research compounds · For laboratory use only
Compounds you can check for yourself.
Every batch is sent to an outside lab before we sell it. The results are printed on the vial and published on the site — so you're not taking our word for it.
- 99%+ purity on every batch, or we don't ship it
- Certificate of analysis for the exact vial you receive
- Ships same day if you order before 1pm ET
Tested by outside labs
Not by us. Three independent labs we have no stake in.
A COA with every order
Matched to your batch number, not a generic sample.
Same-day dispatch
Order before 1pm ET, Monday to Friday. Free over $150.
Money back if we're wrong

How we test
Three checks, before anything ships
No jargon. This is what an outside lab confirms for every batch we sell.
Is it the right compound?
The lab weighs the molecule to confirm it's the compound on the label. This catches the worst failure in our industry — a vial that's pure, but pure something else.
How pure is it?
The material is separated from everything else in the vial and measured as a percentage. We only sell batches that come back at 99% or higher.
Is anything else in there?
Screens for bacterial contamination, leftover solvent, heavy metals and adulterants. Anything that fails is destroyed — never re-blended or discounted.
Quality
Four numbers on every certificate
These are the figures an outside lab reports back to us, and the ones printed on the certificate that ships with your order.
Check a batch
Look up the vial in your hand
Your batch number is printed on the label, under the barcode. Type it in and you'll see the test results for that exact vial.

Questions
Before you order
Are these for human use?
No. Everything we sell is for laboratory and research use only — not for human or animal consumption, and not for diagnosis or treatment. We don't provide dosing guidance and we won't fulfil an order where the stated use is personal.
Who tests your compounds?
Three independent labs — Janoshik, Vector Analytical and Colmaric. We don't own any part of them and nobody on our team works for them. Their name appears on every certificate.
What happens if a batch fails?
It's destroyed. It doesn't get re-blended into a batch that passes, downgraded, or sold cheaper. Failed batches stay listed on our recent batches table so you can see how often it happens.
How do I find my batch number?
It's printed on the vial label, under the barcode, in the format AA-YYMM-NNN. Enter it in the batch checker and you'll get the test results for that exact vial.
How should I store these?
Lyophilised powder at −20°C, out of the light, in the sealed vial. Every shipment includes a temperature indicator — if it's tripped when it arrives, photograph it and contact us before opening and we'll replace it.
How fast do orders ship?
Same day if you order before 1pm ET, Monday to Friday. Free shipping over $150. Everything goes out cold with a temperature indicator in the box.

Order AA-ORD-48213About Artisan Aminos
We started because we couldn't verify what we were buying.
Every supplier said 99%. Almost none of them would show us the paperwork for the batch actually in the box.
Artisan Aminos began with a simple, frustrating problem. Working in a lab, you order research materials and what arrives is a vial with a label and a claim. The certificate, if there is one, is often for a different batch, from a lab nobody names, dated months before your order.
So we built the company we wanted to buy from. Every batch goes to an outside laboratory before we list it. The result is published against the batch number, and the certificate ships in the box — not emailed a week later if you chase it.
That's the whole model. We aren't claiming to be the cheapest, and we won't be. We're claiming that the number on the label is the number the lab reported, and that you can check it in about ninety seconds.
What we hold to
Three rules we don't bend
We never test our own material
Assays go to laboratories we hold no stake in and have no relationship with beyond paying their invoice. Their name is on every certificate.
A failed batch is destroyed
Not re-blended into a passing batch, not downgraded, not quietly discounted. It's disposed of and the disposal is recorded.
The certificate matches your vial
Batch-specific, never a representative sample. If the number on your label doesn't pull up a certificate, something has gone wrong and we want to hear about it.

Compliance
What we will and won't do
Everything we sell is supplied strictly for laboratory and research use. We don't provide dosing guidance, we don't answer questions about personal use, and we won't fulfil an order where the stated purpose is anything other than research.
That isn't legal cover — it's the business we're in. If you need materials for a research programme and want to see the paperwork before you commit, that's exactly who we built this for.
Certificates of analysis
Every certificate we've issued
Search by compound or batch number. Rejected batches stay in the library — we don't remove the ones that failed.
